These beads have larger stringing holes, 15% larger than the traditional round Toho Japanese seed beads but still the same size and shape as regular Toho Round Seed Beads.

The large stringing hole allows you more thread passes through the bead. Toho Takumi beads are ideal for any more complicated beadweaving design.

With Takumi Beads you can use different sizes of stringing material. Another benefit is that there are more beads per gram. Feel free to try those unique large-hole beads.
